Dried silkworm pupae contain a high ratio of proteins (53 %), fats (27 %), and fibre (3 %). They have great amino acid composition and contain an above-average amount of vitamin B1, B2, and B5. Silkworm pupae have a very intense taste and smell, so they are very attractive to animals.
